Notice of Proposed Release of Deposit

Pursuant to the Insurance Companies’ Deposits Act 1953

QBE Trading Indemnity Limited (hereinafter called “the company”) has given notice to the Public Trustee that it has ceased to carry on the business of insurance in New Zealand and that it proposes to withdraw, pursuant to section 19 of the Act, the deposit which has been made by it with the Public Trustee.

The Public Trustee therefore gives notice, pursuant to section 19 (3) of the Act, that, being satisfied that all liabilities of the company in New Zealand in respect of such insurance business have been fully liquidated or provided for, he proposes to release to the company on or after the 10th day of October 2001, the amount deposited with him by the company.

Any objections to the release of the amount deposited should be lodged with the Public Trustee at the Public Trustee Office, 117-125 Lambton Quay, Wellington 1, on or before the 28th day of September 2001.

Approval of Codes of Practice—Agriculture Notice No. 1206

Pursuant to section 28 of the Agricultural Compounds and Veterinary Medicines Act 1997, the Director-General of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry hereby gives notice that:

Notice

1. The codes of practice set out in the Schedule hereto are approved as suitable to receive statutory recognition for use in the management of risks under the Act; and

2. the approval of the codes of practice set out in the Schedule hereto will take effect on the day following the date of publication in the New Zealand Gazette; and

3. the codes of practice set out in the Schedule hereto may be inspected or purchased at the place of the owner or sponsor of the code as shown in the Schedule.
