Appointment of a Board Member to the Residual Health Management Unit

and Disability Act 2000, I appoint

as a Member of the Board of the Residual Health
Management Unit for a term commencing on the date of
appointment and expiring on 30 June 2004.

Notice of Withdrawal of Product Ruling

  1. This is a notice of withdrawal of a product ruling under
    section 91FJ of the Tax Administration Act 1994.

  2. Product ruling No. 97/38 is hereby withdrawn to allow
    for a replacement ruling to be issued, adjusting the
    period of application to 30 June 2004.

  3. Product ruling No. 97/38 related to the establishment
    of a wholesale superannuation fund known as the BNZ
    International Equity Index Fund. It applied for the period
    15 May 1997 to 30 September 2002. Notice of its
    making appeared in the New Zealand Gazette of
    22 May 1997. It is withdrawn on 6 September 2001.

Health and Safety in Employment Act 1992

Notice of Approved Code of Practice for Pressure Equipment (Excluding Boilers)

Pursuant to section 20 (3) of the Health and Safety in
Employment Act 1992, whereas subsections (3) (a) and
(3) (b) of section 20 of that Act have been fulfilled and
complied with, the Minister of Labour hereby gives notice
that she approves a statement of preferred work practices or
arrangements for health and safety in design, manufacturing,
operation, maintenance and servicing of pressure equipment
(excluding boilers), under the Health and Safety in
Employment Act 1992, entitled

"Code of Practice for Pressure Equipment (Excluding
Boilers)".
