Tax Administration Act 1994

Notice of Product Ruling

1. This is a notice of a product ruling made under section 91F of the Tax Administration Act 1994.

2. Public ruling No. 00/09 was issued on 30 November 2000. It relates to investment in olives, and sections BD 2, EG 1 and EP 1 of the Income Tax Act 1994. It will appear in Inland Revenue’s Tax Information Bulletin, Vol. 13, No. 2, of February 2001.

3. From 26 February 2001, a copy of the ruling may be obtained by writing to the Assistant General Manager (Adjudication & Rulings), National Office, Inland Revenue, P.O. Box 2198, Wellington.

The Traffic (Westland District) Notice 2001

Pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962 and Regulation 21 of the Traffic Regulations 1976, and pursuant to an authority sub-delegated to me by the Land Transport Safety Authority of New Zealand dated 9 June 1997, I, John Paul Edgar, Manager, Safer Roads, give the following notice.

Notice

1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Westland District) Notice 2001.

2. I hereby declare those localities and roads within markings identified in the legend of and appearing on plan numbered LT0165/1, entitled “Westland District Speed Restrictions at Kaniere” and held by the Head Office of the Land Transport Safety Authority to be 70km/h speed limit areas or to be excluded from the limitation as to speed imposed by subsection 52 (1) of the Transport Act 1962 and Regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976, as may be ascertained from the Legend.

3. The said plan and Legend are hereby incorporated in this notice.

4. This notice revokes and is in substitution for those parts of The Traffic (Westland District) Notice No. 1, 1993, issued pursuant to Regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976 and section 52 of the Transport Act 1962, that relate to Kaniere*.
