(b) Five parent representatives;

(c) The principal of the school;

(d) One staff representative;

(e) One student representative.

3. The first board of the kura constituted under this notice will take office following the triennial board of trustee elections to be held in 2001, at which time this notice replaces paragraph 5 of notice No. 9153 from the New Zealand Gazette of 9 December 1999, No. 189, page 4472.

Appointment of Temporary Commissioner for Forbury School

This notice replaces a notice on the same matter, which appeared in the New Zealand Gazette of 15 June 2000. The new notice is necessitated by the sudden unavailability of

to fill the position of temporary commissioner at Forbury School.

Pursuant to section 109 (3) of the Education Act 1989 and section 12 of the Interpretation Act 1999, and a power delegated to me, due to the intended absence of the Commissioner for a period of 2 months, I, Kathy Phillips, Senior Manager, National Operations, Ministry of Education hereby:

(a) Terminate the appointment of Mike Allison as Commissioner of Forbury School.

(b) Appoint John Letts as Commissioner of Forbury School.

(c) Terminate the appointment of John Letts as Commissioner of Forbury School, as from 8 September 2000.

(d) Reappoint Mike Allison as Commissioner of Forbury School, as from 8 September 2000.

This notice applies from the date of its publication.

Education (Early Childhood Centres) Regulations 1998

Cancellation of Licence for an Early Childhood Centre

Pursuant to Regulation 12(1) of the Education (Early Childhood Centres) Regulations 1998, and acting under authority delegated by the Secretary for Education, I hereby cancel the licence dated 27 January 2000, which was granted under those regulations to Rangi Lay in respect to Te Kohanga Reo Tua Rua o Mangakino (35082), situated at 17 Haumai Street, Mangakino.

This notice shall take effect the day after the date of its notification in the New Zealand Gazette.
