Land to be Acquired for Limited Access Road—State Highway No. 1, Alma, Otago District

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, Stephen Robert Gilbert, Land Information New Zealand:

(a) Declares, pursuant to section 20 (1) of the Public Works Act 1981, agreements to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the First Schedule to this notice is hereby acquired for limited access road which, pursuant to section 88 (2) of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989, has become road, limited access road and part of State Highway No. 1, and shall vest in the Crown on the date of publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette.

(b) Declares, pursuant to section 20 (1) of the Public Works Act 1981, agreements to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Second Schedule to this notice is hereby acquired for road and shall vest in the Waitaki District Council on the date of publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette.
