Pursuant to section 20 (1) of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, R. J. Present:
THE RIGHT HON HELEN CLARK PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

Pursuant to section 71 of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989, and at the request of Transit New Zealand, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council, hereby orders and declares that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the 28th day after the date of notification of this Order in Council in the New Zealand Gazette, be a motorway.

Schedule

All that portion of State Highway No. 20 in the City of Manukau, being those traffic lanes, shoulders and verges commencing at the southern side of Massey Road and extending in a north-westerly direction for approximately 3.59 kilometres to the point on State Highway No. 20 that is 420 metres south of Hastie Avenue footbridge, including the motorway ramps and connections to and from Massey Road, Walmsley Road and Coronation Road; and

All that portion of State Highway No. 20A in the City of Manukau, being those traffic lanes, shoulders and verges commencing on State Highway No. 20 beneath the Hall Avenue footbridge and extending in a south-westerly direction for approximately 2.1 kilometres to the intersection with Kirkbride Road, including the motorway ramps and connections to and from State Highway No. 20 and Bader Drive;

As shown on plan 1/69/38/1104, Sheet 3, held in the office of the Regional Manager, Transit New Zealand, Auckland.
