Public Trust Office Act 1957

The Public Trust Office (Investment Agencies in Common Fund) Notice 2000 Amendment No. 4

The following notice is given, pursuant to section 37 of the Public Trust Office Act 1957 and sections 28 and 41 of the State Sector Act 1988:

Notice

  1. Title and commencement—This notice may be cited as the Public Trust Office (Investment Agencies in the Common Fund) Notice 2000 Amendment No. 4 and shall take effect from and including the 4th day of May 2000.

  2. Amendments to notice—The Public Trust Office (Investment Agencies in the Common Fund) Notice 2000, New Zealand Gazette 2000, No. 18, page 424, is hereby amended:

    (a) By omitting from paragraph 2 (b) (i) the expression “5.70 percent” and substituting the expression “6.00 percent”;

    (b) By omitting from paragraph 2 (b) (ii) the expression “5.90 percent” and substituting the expression “6.10 percent”;

    (c) By omitting from paragraph 2 (b) (iii) the expression “6.00 percent” and substituting the expression “6.15 percent”;

    (d) By omitting from paragraph 2 (c) (i) the expression “6.00 percent” and substituting the expression “6.20 percent”;

    (e) By omitting from paragraph 2 (c) (ii) the expression “6.05 percent” and substituting the expression “6.30 percent”;

    (f) By omitting from paragraph 2 (c) (iii) the expression “6.20 percent” and substituting the expression “6.40 percent”;

    (g) By omitting from paragraph 2 (d) (i) the expression “6.10 percent” and substituting the expression “6.30 percent”;

    (h) By omitting from paragraph 2 (d) (ii) the expression “6.20 percent” and substituting the expression “6.40 percent”;

    (i) By omitting from paragraph 2 (d) (iii) the expression “6.40 percent” and substituting the expression “6.50 percent”;

    (j) By omitting from paragraph 2 (e) (i) the expression “6.30 percent” and substituting the expression “6.40 percent”.

  3. Transitional provisions—(1) Paragraph 2 of this notice shall not apply to any interest payable in respect of the period that ends with the 3rd day of May 2000.

(2) Paragraph 2 (a) to 2 (j) inclusive of this notice:

(i) shall not apply to agencies that commenced prior to the 4th day of May 2000, but;

(ii) shall apply to agencies that commence on or after the 4th day of May 2000, as from the date of their commencement.

Airworthiness Directives

Pursuant to section 72I (3) (a) of the Civil Aviation Act 1990, and to a delegation from the Director of Civil Aviation, I, Geoffrey Neil Connor, Safety Analyst—Continuing Airworthiness, hereby issue the following airworthiness directives in respect of aircraft or aeronautical products:

These airworthiness directives shall come into force on 4 May 2000.

These airworthiness directives may be viewed on the CAA web site (www.caa.govt.nz) or at Aviation House, 1 Market Grove, Lower Hutt, Wellington.

Notice of Variation of a Scheduled International Air Transport Licence

Further to a notice in the New Zealand Gazette of 2 March 2000 and pursuant to section 87J (6) of the Civil Aviation Act 1990, a delegation from the Minister of Transport dated 30 March 2000, and a subdelegation from the Secretary for Transport dated 31 March 2000, I give notice that the Minister of Transport has varied the scheduled international air service licence held by Air New Zealand to provide for:

  • in respect of Thailand, 7 services per week from points in New Zealand optionally via intermediate points to Bangkok;

  • in respect of Australia and Hong Kong, a twice weekly service to Hong Kong via Melbourne; and

  • in respect of the Cook Islands, the filing of nature of services statements and tariffs to be for information purposes only.
