Pursuant to Section 84 of the Criminal Justice Act 1985

On the 10th day of January 2000 at the District Court at Rotorua, Walter Wiremu Kaka Riki of 3 Rinaha Place, Rotorua, was convicted and fined $250.00 with $130.00 Court costs disqualified from holding or obtaining a motor driver’s licence for 6 months from 21 June 2000, following his offence committed on 28 December 1999, for an offence of driving while disqualified (1), and in addition to the above-mentioned penalty, Judge P. W. Cooper, has ordered that a

be forfeited to Her Majesty, pursuant to section 84 (4) of the Criminal Justice Act 1985.

The vehicle is to be surrendered to the Registrar, District Court, Rotorua, or a Bailiff of the District Court, Rotorua, by 4.00 p.m. on the 10th day of January 2000.

Order for Confiscation of Motor Vehicle

Pursuant to Section 84 of the Criminal Justice Act 1985

CRN: 9075006240

On the 12th day of January 2000 at the District Court at Thames, Grant Ridley of 200 Ensor Street, Thames, was convicted and sentenced to 4 months imprisonment and disqualified from holding or obtaining a motor driver’s licence indefinitely from 12th January 2000, following his conviction for an offence of driving with excess breath alcohol (Land Transport Act 1998, Section 56 (1)) and in addition to the above-mentioned penalty, the District Court Judge has ordered that a

owned by the above-mentioned defendant Grant Ridley, be forfeited to Her Majesty pursuant to section 84 (4) Criminal Justice Act 1985.

The court further ordered pursuant to Section 83 (3) Criminal Justice Act 1985 that Grant Ridley be prohibited from acquiring any interest in any vehicle within 12 months from the date of this order.

The vehicle is to be surrendered to the Registrar, District Court, Thames or a Bailiff of the District Court, Thames, by 4.00 p.m. on the 12th day of January 2000.
