Homai Vision Education Centre Board of Trustees Notice 2000
Pursuant to section 95 and 101 (7) of the Education Act 1989, the Minister of Education hereby gives the following notice:
Notice

This notice may be cited as the Homai Vision Education Centre Board of Trustees Notice 2000. This notice shall take effect on the day after the date of notification in the New Zealand Gazette.

The Homai Vision Education Centre Board of Trustees shall be constituted as follows:
- The Principal of Homai Vision Education Centre.
- Two representatives nominated by the Royal New Zealand Foundation for the Blind and appointed by the Minister of Education.
- One staff member elected by and from the staff of the school.
- Four persons elected by parents of students enrolled at Homai Vision Education Centre.
- One student representative elected by students enrolled full-time at the school in year 10 and above.
- Up to three members co-opted by the board.

The first election for parent, staff and student representatives for the Board of Trustees for Homai Vision Education Centre will take place on 16 June 2000.

The initial meeting of the board of trustees will be on 3 July 2000.
