Revocation of Code of Ethical Conduct
Notice No. 1152 (W.NAE. 06)

Pursuant to section 96 of the Animal Welfare Act 1999, I hereby give notice that I have revoked on the date of this notice the approval of the use by the Meat Industry Research Institute of New Zealand of the code of ethical conduct of the New Zealand Pastoral Agriculture Research Institute Limited.

Notice No. 5278 appearing in the New Zealand Gazette on the 26th day of August 1993 in issue No. 126 at page 2542, is hereby revoked.

Pursuant to Section 84 of the Criminal Justice Act 1985

On the 1st day of March 2000 at the District Court at Tauranga, Evan James Bunker of 6B Kingsley Place, Mount Maunganui, was convicted and fined $500.00, Court costs $130.00 and disqualified from holding or obtaining a motor driver’s licence for 6 months from 26 March 2000, following his conviction on 1 March 2000 for an offence of driving while disqualified and, in addition to the above-mentioned penalty, Community Magistrates K. Hurley and R. Paterson have ordered that a

owned by the above-mentioned defendant, Evan James Bunker, be forfeited to Her Majesty, pursuant to section 84 (4) of the Criminal Justice Act 1985.

The vehicle is to be surrendered to the Registrar, District Court, Tauranga, or a Bailiff of the District Court, Tauranga, by 4.00 p.m. on the 1st day of March 2000.
