Declaration That Private Land be Protected Private Land

Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Community Relations Manager for the Otago Conservancy of the Department of Conservation declares that the private land described in the Schedule be protected private land for scientific purposes, subject to the provisions of the Act.

Classification of Reserve and Vesting in the Timaru District Council

Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Conservator of the Canterbury Conservancy of the Department of Conservation classifies the reserve described in the Schedule as a local purpose (plantation) reserve and vests the reserve in the Timaru District Council in trust for that purpose.

Land Acquired for Limited Access Road—State Highway No. 1, Hukerenui, Whangarei and Far North Districts

Pursuant to section 20(1) of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, R. J. Sutherland, Land Information New Zealand, declares that, pursuant to an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule to this notice is acquired for road which, pursuant to section 88 (2) of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989, becomes road, limited access road and State highway and is vested in the Crown on the date of publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette.
