Setting Apart Māori Freehold Land as a Māori Reservation

Pursuant to section 338 (1) of Te Ture Whenua Māori Act 1993, on the recommendation of the Māori Land Court, the Māori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart as a Māori reservation for the purpose of a recreation reserve not to be used for living accommodation and no buildings, caravans, tents or other facilities to be placed upon the reserve, to be known as Hone Wi Anania Reserve for the common use and benefit of the owners of Opanake 1 (D.P. 3046) Sections 1B1A and 1B1B.

Schedule

North Auckland Land District

All that piece of land situated in Block XIII, Tutamoe Survey District and described as follows:

Area Being
ha Opanake 1 (D.P. 3046), part Section 1B1, being all of the land contained in Partition Order dated 25 November 1998.

Setting Apart Māori Freehold Land as a Māori Reservation

Pursuant to section 338 (1) of Te Ture Whenua Māori Act 1993, on the recommendation of the Māori Land Court, the Māori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart as a Māori reservation for the purpose of recreation, camping, meeting place and marae, to be known as the Watene me Vivienne Ratapu Martin Māori Reservation for the common use and benefit of the descendants of Watene and Vivienne Martin.

All that piece of land situated in Block II, Whangaruru Survey District and described as follows:

Area Being
Part Lot 1 on Deposited Plan 108084, being part Whangaruru Whakaturia No. 4 and being part of the land contained in certificate of title, Volume 60C, folio 96.

8092 or Part of Pukenui 1B, Section 7C Block, as 2 acres comprised in the Partition Order dated (more or 5 November 1914 of the Māori Land Court, Waikato-Maniapoto District).

Redefining the Purposes of a Māori Reservation

Pursuant to section 338 (5) (e) and (d) of Te Ture Whenua Māori Act 1993, on the recommendation of the Māori Land Court, the Māori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto, the purposes of the Māori reservation which was set aside as a Māori reservation in the New Zealand Gazette, 19 September 1967, No. 56, page 1451, is hereby redefined from “a meeting place and recreation and sports ground for the common use and benefit of the Māori people” to “a meeting place, building site, recreation and sports ground for the use and benefit of Ngāti Raukawa and the beneficial owners of the land and their descendants”.

All that piece of land situated in Block XII, Puniua Survey District and described as follows:

Area Being
ha 1.7199 Maungatautari 4B3 and 6, No. 1B1B, as (more or less) comprised in the Partition Order dated 5 June 1962 of the Māori Land Court, Waikato-Maniapoto District.

Excluding Areas From a Māori Reservation

Pursuant to section 338 (5) (a) of Te Ture Whenua Māori Act 1993, on the recommendation of the Māori Land Court to exclude areas from the Māori reservation created by virtue of a notice in the New Zealand Gazette, 17 October 1996, No. 150, page 3997, the areas described in the Schedule hereto are hereby excluded from the said Māori reservation.
