Pursuant to section 20 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, Ronald Alistair Jolly, Land Information New Zealand, declares that, pursuant to agreements to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule to this notice is hereby acquired for road and vested in the Crown.

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, Ronald Alistair Jolly, Land Information New Zealand, declares:

(a) Pursuant to section 52 (1), the land described in the First Schedule to this notice is to be set apart for limited access road which, pursuant to section 88 (2) of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989, shall become road, limited access road and State highway, shall form part of State Highway No. 1 and shall remain vested in the Crown on the date of publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette.

(b) Pursuant to section 52 (1), the land described in the Second Schedule to this notice is to be set apart for railway purposes and shall remain vested in the Crown.
