Transit New Zealand Act 1989

Amendment to Transit New Zealand Bylaw 2000/8 : Bylaw Regulating the Speed of Vehicles on State Highways in Transit New Zealand Regions 3 and 4

Pursuant to section 61 (3) of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989, Transit New Zealand hereby amends the above bylaw as follows.

Amendment

  1. This amendment shall come into force 28 days after its publication in the New Zealand Gazette.

  2. In the First Schedule following clause 4, insert:
    At Tokoroa, commencing at a point (Route Position 537/11.02) 55 metres north of the northern abutment of the Whakaumu Bridge, proceeding in a generally southerly direction to a point (Route Position 537/12.36) 90 metres south of Mossop Road; a distance of 1.34 kilometres.

  3. In the Second Schedule following clause 9, insert:
    At Tokoroa, commencing at a point (Route Position 537/12.36) 90 metres south of Mossop Road, proceeding in a generally southerly direction to a point (Route Position 550/1.34) 150 metres south of Moffat Road; a distance of 1.58 kilometres.

This amendment is made by delegated authority from the Transit New Zealand Authority.

Reserves Act 1977

Classification of Reserves

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Taupo District Council hereby classifies the reserve described in the Schedule hereto as a scenic reserve for the purposes specified in section 19 (1) (b) of the Reserves Act 1977, subject to the provisions of the said Act.

Reserves Act 1977

Authorisation of the Exchange of Part of a Reserve for Other Land

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Community Relations Manager for the Northland Conservancy of the Department of Conservation hereby authorises the exchange of that part of the recreation reserve described in the First Schedule hereto for the land described in the Second Schedule hereto.

North Auckland Land District—Far North District

First Schedule
90 square metres, more or less, being part Lot 30, D.P. 60462, more particularly shown as part Lot 3 on L.T. Plan 198784.

Second Schedule
92 square metres, more or less, being part Lot 2, D.P. 196111, more particularly shown as part Lot 1 on L.T. Plan 198784.

Reservation of Land

Under the Land Act 1948, the Conservator of the Otago Conservancy of the Department of Conservation sets apart the land described in the First Schedule as a scenic reserve, subject to the provisions of section 19 (1) (a) of the Reserves Act 1977, and the land described in the Second Schedule as an historic reserve, subject to the provisions of section 18 of the Reserves Act 1977.
