In accordance with section 12(1) of the Order, the Foundation for Arable Research has determined the rate of the levy for 2001 to be:

• Herbage and amenity seed, 0.6% of assessed value.

• Specialist vegetable seeds (such as hybrid brassicas, carrot, onion, celery, beet), 0.6% or to a maximum dollar value equivalent to the rate for open pollinated brassicas.

• Maize, 0.4%.

• All other small grain and seeds, 0.6%.
