Pursuant to Section 221 (4) of the Companies Act 1993

Notice is given by Kaikoura Co-operative Dairy Company Limited of an amalgamation proposal affecting the company.

Kaikoura Co-operative Dairy Company Limited proposes to amalgamate with Kiwi Kaikoura Co-operative Dairies Limited, and Kaikoura Co-operative Dairy Company Limited shareholders will become shareholders initially in Kiwi Kaikoura Co-operative Dairies Limited and subsequently in Kiwi Co-operative Dairies Limited.

Copies of the amalgamation proposal dated on the 1st day of November 2000, are available for inspection during normal business hours by any shareholder or creditor of the company or of Kiwi Kaikoura Co-operative Dairies Limited, or any person to whom the company or Kiwi Kaikoura Co-operative Dairies Limited is under an obligation, at the registered offices of the company situated at Mill Road, R.D. 1, Kaikoura, or of Kiwi Kaikoura Co-operative Dairies Limited at Whareroa Road, Hawera.

A shareholder or creditor of the company or Kiwi Kaikoura Co-operative Dairies Limited, or any person to whom the company or Kiwi Kaikoura Co-operative Dairies Limited is under an obligation, is entitled to be supplied free of charge with a copy of the amalgamation proposal upon request to the company or to Kiwi Kaikoura Co-operative Dairies Limited.
