Exemption From Specified Requirements of the Traffic Regulations 1976 and the Transport (Vehicle Standards) Regulations 1990

Pursuant to Regulation 90 (1) of the Traffic Regulations 1976 and pursuant to Regulation 36 of the Transport (Vehicle Standards) Regulations 1990, I, Timothy Neil Bullock, Senior Vehicle Compliance Officer, hereby exempt the motor vehicle specified in Schedule 1 of this notice from the requirements specified in Schedule 2, subject to the conditions specified in Schedule 3.

Transport (Vehicle Standards) Regulations 1990:
Regulation 29 (3) and (4) Seat belts

Schedule 3

Conditions

(i) Static 3-point lap and diagonal seat belts that comply with the appropriate vehicle standard are fitted in the front outboard sitting positions;

(ii) All seat belts must be securely anchored to the vehicle and seat belt anchorages that are not the vehicle manufacturer’s original equipment must comply with Specification St. 120395;

(iii) This exemption may be revoked at any time; and

(iv) A copy of this notice must be carried in the vehicle at all times and be readily available for inspection.

Reserves Act 1977

Classification of Reserve and Vesting in the Auckland Regional Council

Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Community Relations Manager of the Auckland Conservancy of the Department of Conservation classifies the reserve described in the Schedule as a recreation reserve and vests the reserve in the Auckland Regional Council in trust for that purpose.

Cancellation of the Vesting of a Reserve and the Appointment to Control and Manage a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Community Relations Manager of the Auckland Conservancy of the Department of Conservation hereby cancels the vested powers of the Franklin District Council in the Maketu Pa Historic Reserve described in the Schedule hereto and, further, appoints the Whatapaka Marae Trustees to control and manage the reserve.
