Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, R. J. Sutherland, Land Information New Zealand:

(a) Pursuant to sections 116 (1) and 52 (4), declares the portions of road described in the First Schedule to this notice to be stopped and to be set apart for drainage purposes and remain vested in the Waikato District Council.

(b) Pursuant to section 50 (1), declares the land described in the Second Schedule to this notice to be set apart for drainage purposes and vested in the Waikato District Council.

Setting Apart Māori Freehold Land as a Māori Reservation

Pursuant to section 338 (1) of Te Ture Whenua Māori Act 1993, on the recommendation of the Māori Land Court, the Māori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart as a Māori reservation for the purpose of a marae for the common use and benefit of Ngatitaratikitiki and related hapu and the local community in general, such marae to be known as the Opuatia Marae.
