The Commodity Levies (Winemaking Grapes) Order 1998

The Commodity Levies (Winemaking Grapes) Order 1998

  1. It was resolved at the Annual General Meeting of the New Zealand Grape Growers Council in Nelson on 24 August 2000 that the levy for 2001 vintage remain at 0.75% + G.S.T.

  2. In accordance with the above order, all growers and buyers are advised that the calculation of the levy will be on the following basis:

(a) In the case of grapes processed into grape juice or grape juice concentrate before sale, on the basis of a notional price to be determined by the council as per clause 4 (2) of the order. The notional price for the year 2001 vintage is the 75% quartile price for the region and variety concerned;

(b) In the case of grapes exported from New Zealand by or on behalf of their grower, on the basis of their f.o.b. value (exclusive of G.S.T., if any, and before deduction of any costs or charges); and

(c) In the case of grapes sold in New Zealand, on the basis of their farm gate price (exclusive of G.S.T., if any, and before deduction of any costs or charges).

Nurses Act 1977

Order of Council in Disciplinary Session— Susan Meyrick Collie, Registered General and Obstetric Nurse

In exercise of its powers under sections 42 (1)(b), 42 (2) (a), 42 (3) and 48A of the Nurses Act 1977, the Nursing Council of New Zealand (“the council”), in a decision dated 29 September 1999, ordered that the name of Susan Meyrick Collie be removed from the Register of General and Obstetric Nurses and that she may apply for reinstatement after a period of 12 months.

The council also ordered that Susan Meyrick Collie pay costs of $6048.00 being 50% of the actual costs and expenses of and incidental to the investigation by the Preliminary Proceedings Committee and inquiry by the council, and that a notice stating the effect of the orders be published in the New Zealand Gazette, Kai Tiaki: Nursing New Zealand and The Press newspaper.
