Food Act 1981

New Zealand Food Standard 1996, Amendment No. 19

Section 11L of the Food Act 1981

Amendment No. 19 to the New Zealand Food Standard 1996 was issued by the Minister of Health on 18 September 2000.

Amendment No. 19 incorporates changes made by Amendment No. 50 to the Australian Food Standards Code (ASFC) into the New Zealand Food Standard 1996.

The Australia New Zealand Food Authority (ANZFA) gazetted Amendment No. 50 in Australia and New Zealand on 17 August 2000.

The New Zealand Food Standard 1996 and the material incorporated into it by reference, i.e. the AFSC up to and including Amendment 50, is available for inspection at the Ministry of Health, 133 Molesworth Street, Wellington.

Food standards, including the New Zealand Food Standard 1996, may be viewed on the Ministry of Health web site: www.moh.govt.nz
