Public Notice of Appointment of Liquidator and Meeting of Creditors

Pursuant to Section 255 (2) (a) and Section 243 of the Companies Act 1993

On the 9th day of February 2000, it was resolved by section 241 (2) (a) of the Companies Act 1993 that the company be liquidated and that Jugdis Parbhu, chartered accountant of Auckland, be appointed liquidator for that purpose.

The liquidation commenced at 3.54 p.m. on the 9th day of February 2000.

Creditors and shareholders may direct inquiries to me during normal business hours at the address and telephone number stated below.

Public notice is given that a meeting of creditors of the company will be held at Level Five, 50 Anzac Avenue on the 25th day of February 2000 at 10.00 a.m.

The business of the meeting will be as follows:

(i) Appointment of liquidator:
To consider whether to appoint another liquidator in place of the present liquidator who was appointed by the shareholders of the company and if thought fit to pass the following resolution:
“That the appointment of the present liquidator be confirmed”.

(ii) Conduct of the Liquidation
To consider whether the liquidator should be asked to have regard to the views, if any, of creditors in conducting the liquidation and if thought fit to pass the following resolution:
“That no views as to the conduct of the liquidation be placed before the liquidator”.

Notice is hereby given that, pursuant to section 241 (2) (c) of the Companies Act 1993, David Bryden Davidson, chartered accountant of Auckland, and Vivian Judith Fatupaito, insolvency practitioner of Auckland, were appointed joint and several liquidators of Read Roofing (1996) Limited (in liquidation).

The liquidation commenced on the 10th day of February 2000.
