3214 NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE No. 126

DAILY BAG LIMITS

3.1 No licence holder shall take, kill or be in possession of more than 1 trout in the following waters:
Akatarawa River
Hautapu River, above the road bridge numbered 741/10.96 on State Highway 1 by the Taihape Golf Club;
Hutt River
Mangaohane Stream
Mangatarere Stream
Makuri River
Manawatu River upstream of its confluence with the Mangatewainui Stream
Pakuratahi Stream
Pourangaki River
Rangitikei River upstream of the confluence of Otarere Stream
Tokomaru River
Waikanae River
Wainuiomata River
Whakatikei River
All waters upstream of the boundaries of the Ruahine, Tararua, and Rimutaka Forest Parks

3.2 No licence holder shall take, kill or be in possession of more than 4 trout in the following waters:
Rangitikei River and its tributaries upstream of the Matawhero Road Bridge (commonly called Mangaohane Bridge) up to the confluence of the Otarere Stream.

3.3 There is no limit in all other waters.

LENGTH LIMIT

4.1 There is no minimum length limit for sports fish taken in the Wellington Fish and Game region.

4.2 No licence holder shall take or have in his or her possession any trout which exceeds 550 mm in length in the following waters:
Rangitikei River and its tributaries upstream of the Matawhero Road bridge (commonly called the Mangaohane Bridge);
Hautapu River upstream of the road bridge numbered 741/10.96 on State Highway 1 by the Taihape Golf Club;
Waingawa River upstream of the Tararua Forest Park boundary;
Wainuiomata River downstream of the main township bridge.

4.3 No licence holder shall take or have in his or her possession any trout which exceeds 450 mm in length in the following waters:
Akatarawa River
Hutt River
Mangaohane Stream
Pakuratahi River
