Mental Health (Compulsory Assessment and Treatment) Notice 2000—Appointment of Directors of Area Mental Health Services
Pursuant to section 92 of the Mental Health (Compulsory Assessment and Treatment) Act 1992, I, Karen Olive Poutasi, Director-General of Health:

Define the areas set out in the left hand column of the Schedule to this notice, as areas in respect of which Directors of Area Mental Health Services are to be designated;

Designate the persons set out in the right hand column of the Schedule to this notice, as Directors of Area Mental Health Services for the corresponding areas set out in the left hand column of the Schedule.
I revoke all previous notices made by the Director-General of Health pursuant to section 92 of the Mental Health (Compulsory Assessment and Treatment) Act 1992.

Area 1—Northland
Northland including Far North, Whangarei and Kaipara Districts as constituted by the Local Government (Northland Region) Reorganisation Order 1989 and the Local Government Boundary Alteration Notice 1996.
Masab Alami, medical practitioner, of Whangarei.
Area 2—Auckland
Auckland including Rodney, Papakura and Franklin Districts, plus Auckland, North Shore, Waitakere and Manukau Cities as constituted by the Local Government (Auckland Region) Reorganisation Order 1989, the Local Government (Auckland Region) Reorganisation Amendment Order (No. 3) 1990, the Local Government (Auckland Region) Reorganisation Amendment Order (No. 2) 1992, the Local Government Boundary Alteration Notice 1997, the Local Government (Manukau City) Boundary Alteration Notice 1997 and the Local Government Boundary Alteration Notice (No. 2) 1997.
