Supplementary Integration Agreement

Pursuant to section 10 of the Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975, notice is given that a supplementary integration agreement has been signed between the Minister of Education on behalf of Her Majesty the Queen, acting through the Senior Manager, National Operations, Ministry of Education, pursuant to delegated authority, and the proprietor of the following school:

Sacred Heart College, Napier.

The said supplementary integration agreement was executed on the 28th day of August 2000.

A copy of the supplementary integration agreement is available for inspection without charge by any member of the public at the district office of the Ministry of Education, 65 Waterloo Road, Lower Hutt.

Appointment of Westland District Council—Okuru Cemetery

Pursuant to section 23 (3) of the Burial and Cremation Act 1964, the Governor-General has appointed the Westland District Council to have the control and management of the Okuru Cemetery.

Closure of the Claremont Burial Ground, Timaru

I, Annette King, Minister of Health, make the following directions under the Burial and Cremation Act 1964 (“the Act”):

1. Under section 41 (1) of the Act, the denominational burial ground known as the Claremont Burial Ground, Timaru, being the land described in the Schedule to this notice (“the ground”), shall be closed, and burials there shall be discontinued from and including 2 March 2001.

2. This closing order shall be subject to the following exception and qualification:

Under the proviso to section 44 (4) of the Act, the land identified in the Schedule may be sold and diverted to any other purpose provided the site is cleared of any remains, tablets and monuments.

Schedule

All that parcel of land containing 1,719 square metres, more or less, being Lot 4, Deposited Plan 78853, contained in certificate of title 45B/389 (Canterbury Land Registry).
