Dumping and Countervailing Duties Act 1988

Termination of Dumping Investigation: Primary Carpet Backing Fabric From Saudi Arabia

Notice is hereby given that, acting pursuant to section 11 of the Dumping and Countervailing Duties Act 1988 (hereinafter referred to as “the Act”), I have terminated a dumping investigation in respect of primary carpet backing fabric from Saudi Arabia (the “subject goods” as described in the Notice of Initiation of Dumping Investigation of 29 March 2000 (New Zealand Gazette, 6 April 2000, page 795)), imported or intended to be imported into New Zealand.

I have terminated the investigation because I am satisfied, under section 11 (1) (d) of the Act, that the application for the investigation has been withdrawn in writing by the Australian producer by or on whose behalf the application was made.

Revocation of registration as a registered operator—The registration of Telegroup Network Services New Zealand Limited as a registered operator for the purposes of the Telecommunications (International Services) Regulations 1994 (“the regulations”), done on 23 April 1997 and notified in the New Zealand Gazette on 1 May 1997, was revoked pursuant to regulation 8 of the regulations on 7 August 2000.

Cancellation of Licence for an Early Childhood Centre

Pursuant to Regulation 12 (1) of the Education (Early Childhood Centres) Regulations 1998, and acting under authority delegated by the Secretary for Education, I hereby cancel the licence dated 20 April 2000, which was granted under those regulations to Patricia Smith in respect of Waitara Playcentre (50002), situated at Carey Street, Waitara.

This notice shall take effect the day after the date of its notification in the New Zealand Gazette.
