Road Realignment—State Highway No. 79, Rangitata-Fairlie, Timaru

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, Stephen Robert Gilbert, Land Information New Zealand, declares:

(a) Pursuant to section 20 (1), that pursuant to an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the First Schedule to this notice is acquired for road, which, pursuant to section 60 (2) of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989, forms part of State Highway No. 79 and shall vest in the Crown on the date of publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette.

(b) Pursuant to sections 116 (1) and 117 (3) and 120 (3) of the Public Works Act 1981, that the road described in the Second Schedule to this notice to be stopped and shall be amalgamated with the land in certificate of title 22A/182.
