Land Acquired for Use in Connection with a Road—State Highway No. 1, Mercer—Long Swamp, Franklin District

Pursuant to section 20 (1) of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, Stephen Robert Gilbert, Land Information New Zealand, declares that pursuant to an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule to this notice is acquired for use in connection with a road and shall vest in the Crown on the date of publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette.

Land and Easements Acquired for Reservoir Site in Waikato District

Pursuant to sections 20 and 28 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, Kerry John Twyde, Land Information New Zealand, declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the First Schedule hereto, is hereby acquired for a reservoir site, subject to mining easements created by Transfer 130822, and Coal Mining Licences 45C/161 and 51B/410, section 3 Petroleum Act 1937, section 8 Atomic Energy Act 1945, section 3 Geothermal Energy Act 1953, sections 6 and 8 Mining Act 1971 and sections 5 and 261 Coal Mines Act 1979, the right of way easement in perpetuity described in the Second Schedule hereto (being appurtenant to the land described in the First Schedule hereto), is hereby acquired over the land described in the Third Schedule hereto, subject to mining easements created by Transfer 130822, and Coal Mining Licences 45C/161 and 51B/410; and the right to convey water easements in perpetuity described in the Fourth Schedule hereto (being appurtenant to the land described in the First Schedule hereto), is hereby acquired over the land described in the Fifth Schedule hereto, subject to mining easements created by Transfer 130822, and Coal Mining Licences 45C/161 and 51B/410; and further declares that the said land and easements shall vest in the Waikato District Council on the date of publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette.
