Order for Confiscation of Motor Vehicle

Pursuant to Section 84 of the Criminal Justice Act 1985

On the 20th day of December 1999 at the District Court at Tauranga, Patrick Henry Paraire of 54 Kairua Road, Papamoa, was convicted and sentenced to 4 months periodic detention and disqualified from holding or obtaining a motor driver’s licence for 12 months from 20 December 1999, following his conviction on 20 December 1999, for an offence of driving whilst disqualified having been convicted at least twice previously, and in addition to the above-mentioned penalty, Judge D. C. McKegg has ordered that a Ford Sierra motor vehicle, registration No. NR 1692 owned by the above-mentioned defendant, be forfeited to Her Majesty the Queen, pursuant to section 84 (4) of the Criminal Justice Act 1985.

The vehicle is to be surrendered to the Registrar, District Court, Tauranga, or a Bailiff of the District Court, Tauranga, by 4.00 p.m. on the 20th day of December 1999.
