Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, Kerry John Twydle, Land Information New Zealand:

(a) Pursuant to section 116, declares the road described in the First Schedule to this notice to be stopped.

(b) Pursuant to sections 20 and 50, declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, for the exchange of lands, the land described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby acquired for railway land to be called Section 6, S.O. 55934, and is vested in the Crown at the date of publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette. The land described in the Second Schedule hereto is taken for road and shall vest in the Waipa District Council on the date of publication of this Gazette notice as road.
