Amending a Notice of Road Realignment at Glynn Wye, North Canterbury

Pursuant to section 55 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, Ronald Alistair Jolly, Land Information New Zealand, amends the notice dated the 2nd day of February 1999, realigning road, published in the New Zealand Gazette of 11 February 1999, No. 19 at page 442, by deleting the following areas from the First and Third Schedules as specified.

Road Stopped and Vested at State Highway No. 8, Cave

Pursuant to sections 116, 117 and 120 (3) of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, Ronald Alistair Jolly, Land Information New Zealand, declares the road described in the Schedule to this notice to be stopped and shall be amalgamated with the land in certificate of title 45A/1149 (Canterbury Registry).

Land Taken for Severance and Road Stopped and Vested at State Highway No. 8, Cave

Pursuant to Part VIII of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, Ronald Alistair Jolly, Land Information New Zealand:

(a) Pursuant to section 119, declares the land described in the First Schedule to this notice to be taken for severance and shall be amalgamated with the land in certificate of title 44B/776 (Canterbury Registry), subject to all existing encumbrances.

(b) Pursuant to sections 116, 117 and 120 (3), declares the road described in the Second Schedule to be stopped and shall be amalgamated with the land in certificate of title 44B/776 (Canterbury Registry), subject to all existing encumbrances.

First Schedule

260 square metres, being part Lot 1, D.P. 26193; shown as “C” on plan. Part certificate of title 8F/927.

Second Schedule

Land Acquired for Use in Connection With a Road—State Highway No. 3, Okoki, Taranaki

Pursuant to section 20 (1) of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, Ronald Alistair Jolly, Land Information New Zealand, declares that, pursuant to an agreement to that effect having been entered into the land described in the Schedule to this notice is acquired for use in connection with a road and vested in the Crown on the date of publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette.
