Airworthiness Directive
Pursuant to section 72I (3) (a) of the Civil Aviation Act 1990, and to a delegation from the Director of Civil Aviation, I, Geoffrey Neil Connor, Safety Analyst β Continuing Airworthiness, hereby issue the following airworthiness directive in respect of an aircraft:
DCA/MICRO/3
This airworthiness directive shall come into force on 15 July 1999.
This airworthiness directive may be viewed on the CAA website (www.caa.govt.nz) or at Aviation House, 1 Market Grove, Lower Hutt.

Notification of Ordinary Rules
Pursuant to section 34 of the Civil Aviation Act 1990, notification is hereby given of the amendment of ordinary rules set out in the Schedule hereto which come into effect as in the Schedule.
Schedule
Civil Aviation Rules Part 172, Air Traffic Service Organisations, Amendment 1, which shall come into effect on 13 August 1999.
These ordinary rules are available for inspection at the Civil Aviation Authority of New Zealand, 1 Market Grove (P.O. Box 31-441), Lower Hutt.
They may be downloaded from the CAA website at www.caa.govt.nz or purchased from Publishing Solutions Limited, freephone 0800 800 359.

Summary of Exemptions Granted by the Director of Civil Aviation
Pursuant to section 37 of the Civil Aviation Act 1990, notification is hereby given of a summary of an exemption, set out in the Schedule hereto, granted by the Director of Civil Aviation.
Schedule
99/EXE/87 CAR 91.701 (c) & (d)
On 21 June 1999, to each pilot operating an aircraft in aerobatic flight below a height of 3000 feet or while carrying a passenger, from the requirements in Civil Aviation Rules 91.701 (c) and (d) that the pilot shall hold an aerobatic rating issued under Part 61.
This exemption shall apply until 31 March 2000 or until withdrawn in writing by the director, whichever occurs first.
Pilots wishing to make use of it must refer to exemption 99/EXE/87 to ensure they comply with the conditions attached to it. The full exemption with conditions is available in the Civil Aviation Rules Register Information Leaflet (CARRIL) dated 15 July 1999.
The CARRIL is available on the CAA website (www.caa.govt.nz). It is also available on request to the Docket Clerk, telephone (04) 560 9412.
Exemption files may be viewed on prior request to the Registrar at the office of the Civil Aviation Authority, 1 Market Grove (P.O. Box 31-441), Lower Hutt.

Pursuant to Part IV of the Electoral Act 1993, the Electoral Commission resolved on 9 July 1999 to register the logo for Libertarianz.
