Road Realignment—State Highway No. 2, Mohaka Coach Road, Hawke’s Bay

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, R. J. Sutherland, Land Information New Zealand:

(a) Pursuant to section 20 (1), and pursuant to an agreement to that effect having been entered into, declares the land described in the First Schedule to this notice to be road, which pursuant to section 60 (2) of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989, forms part of State Highway No. 2 and shall vest in the Crown on the date of publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette.

(b) Pursuant to section 116 (1), declares the portions of road described in the Second Schedule to this notice to be stopped and further declares that, pursuant to sections 117 (3) and 120 (3):

(i) The area of stopped road firstly described in the Second Schedule hereto (now known as section 3 on S.O. 10931), be amalgamated with the land in certificate of title No. P1/986, subject to mortgage 627215.4;

(ii) The area of stopped road secondly described in the Second Schedule hereto (now known as section 2 on S.O. 10931), be amalgamated with the land in certificate of title No. W2/431, subject to mortgage 588113.3.
