Road Realignment at Cass

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, R. J. Sutherland, Land Information New Zealand:

(a) Pursuant to section 20, declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the First Schedule is acquired for road which, pursuant to section 60 (2) of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989, shall form part of State Highway No. 73 and shall vest in the Crown on the date of publication in the New Zealand Gazette.

(b) Pursuant to section 114, declares the land in the Second Schedule to be road, which pursuant to section 60 (2) of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989, shall form part of State Highway No. 73 and shall vest in the Crown on the date of publication in the New Zealand Gazette.

(c) Pursuant to sections 116, 117 and 120 (3), declares the road described in the Third Schedule to be stopped and further declares that:

(i) The area firstly described shall be amalgamated with the land in certificate of title 41A/153, subject to memorandum of mortgage A. 223159/1 (Canterbury Registry).

(ii) The areas secondly to lastly described shall be amalgamated with the land in certificate of title 5D/1389, subject to memorandum of mortgage A. 221255/1 (Canterbury Registry).

(d) Pursuant to sections 117 and 120 (3), declares the stopped road described in the Fourth Schedule to be amalgamated with the land in certificate of title 5D/1389, subject to memorandum of mortgage A. 221255/1 (Canterbury Registry).

(e) Pursuant to section 119, declares the land described in the Fifth Schedule to be taken for severance and shall be amalgamated with the land in certificate of title 5D/1389,

subject to memorandum of mortgage A. 221255/1 (Canterbury Registry).
