following resolution was passed by the Waipa District Council on the 15th day of March 1999:

“That in exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 14 of the Reserves Act 1977, the Waipa District Council hereby resolves that the land held by the said council in fee simple and described in the Schedule hereto, shall be, and the same is hereby declared to be a recreation reserve within the meaning of the said Act.”

2.1246 hectares approximately, more or less, being Section 574, Town of Cambridge East, situated in Block IX, Cambridge Survey District. All New Zealand Gazette, 1928, page 2732.

Declaration That Land is Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Community Relations Manager for the Waikato Conservancy of the Department of Conservation, hereby notifies that the following resolution was passed by the Waipa District Council on the 13th day of July 1998:

“That in exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 14 of the Reserves Act 1977, the Waipa District Council hereby resolves that the land held by the said council in fee simple and described in the Schedule hereto, shall be declared for the purposes specified at the end of the respective descriptions, subject to the provisions of the said Act.”

746 square metres, more or less, being Section 1, shown on Survey Office Plan 60118. All certificate of title 67A/437. Local purpose (utility) reserve.

4436 square metres, more or less, being Section 2, shown on Survey Office Plan 60118. All certificate of title 67A/438. Recreation reserve.

Te Ture Whenua Maori Act 1993

Redefining the Class of Persons for Whose Use or Benefit the Maori Reservation is Held

Pursuant to sections 338 (5) (d) and 340 of Te Ture Whenua Maori Act 1993, on the recommendation of the Maori Land Court, the class of persons for whose use or benefit the Maori reservation is held in respect of the land described in the Schedule hereto created by notice published in the New Zealand Gazette, No. 140, page 3416 of 10 September 1998, is hereby redefined to be held for the common use and benefit of the people of New Zealand, subject to the Nga Whenua Rahui Deed which has been entered into between the Minister of Conservation and the proprietors of Tikitiki D9.

Setting Apart Maori Land as a Maori Reservation and Defining Persons for Whose Use or Benefit the Reservation is Held

Pursuant to sections 338 (1) and 340 of Te Ture Whenua Maori Act 1993, on the recommendation of the Maori Land Court, the land described in the Schedule hereto, is hereby set apart as a Maori reservation for the purposes of preserving and protecting the natural and historic values of the land as well as the spiritual and cultural values which Maori associated with the land for the common use and benefit of the people of New Zealand subject to the Nga Whenua Rahui deed between the trustees and the Minister of Conservation.
