Land Set Apart and Vested in the Hawke’s Bay Regional Council for Soil Conservation and River Control Purposes, Te Waikaha Stream, Hastings District

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, Kerry John Twydle, Land Information New Zealand, declares that:

(a) Pursuant to section 52 (1), the land described in the Schedule to this notice, to be set apart for soil conservation and river control purposes on the date of publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette; and

(b) Pursuant to sections 50 and 20, the land described in the Schedule to this notice is acquired for soil conservation and river control purposes, subject to the right to drain water created by transfer 406277.1 and the reservation of all minerals on the land owned by the Crown, pursuant to section 11 of the Crown Minerals Act 1991 and Part IVA of the Conservation Act 1987, and shall vest in the Hawke’s Bay Regional Council on the date of publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette.

Land Acquired for Recreation Reserve (Scarborough Farm), in Christchurch City and Banks Peninsula District

Pursuant to section 20 (1) of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, Kerry John Twydle, Land Information New Zealand, declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule to this notice is hereby acquired for a recreation reserve, subject to the Reserves Act 1977, a right to convey electric power in gross granted by transfer 809367/45, a right to convey water in gross granted by transfer A. 29390/21 (subject to section 243 (a) of the Resource Management Act 1991), a right to drain water in gross granted by transfer A. 250292/8 (subject to section 243 of the Resource Management Act 1991) and a deed of lease to Alasdair Lindsay Tait Lamont dated 31 January 1994, and shall vest in the Christchurch City Council on the date of publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette.
