THIRD SCHEDULE

Game Licences and Licence Fees

This schedule notifies the definitions and classes of game licences and fees payable in respect of each class of licence and the conditions attached thereto pursuant to section 72(3A)(a) - (d) of the Wildlife Act 1953.

The $1 Game Bird Habitat Stamp component of the following total licence fees is set pursuant to section 72(3A)(e) of the Wildlife Act 1953.

The holder of any game licence for the 1999 game season shall be subject to the conditions and daily possession limits for each Fish and Game Region in which the hunting or killing of game takes place, as specified under the First and Second Schedules of the notice in the New Zealand Gazette in which the Minister of Conservation declared the 1999 open season for game.

The provisions of the Arms Act 1983 apply with respect to firearms used in accordance with the licence.

Definitions

Adult Any person 20 years of age or older as at 1 May 1999.

Young Adult Any person 16 years of age or older but not having obtained 20 years of age as at 1 May 1999.

Junior Any person under the age of 16 years as at 1 May 1999.

Child Any person under the age of 12 years as at 1 May 1999.
