Pursuant to section 52A of the Transport Act 1962 and pursuant to an authority sub-delegated to me by the Land Transport Safety Authority of New Zealand dated 9 June 1997, I, John Paul Edgar, Manager, Safer Roads, give the following notice:
Notice
(1) This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Selwyn District) Notice 1999.
(2) That part of the Second Schedule of the Traffic (Ellesmere and Paparua Counties) Notice No. 1, 1976* which relates to the No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff) is revoked.

The Traffic (Waimakariri District) Notice 1999
Pursuant to sections 52 (2) and 52 (3) of the Transport Act 1962, and regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976 and pursuant to an authority sub-delegated to me by the Land Transport Safety Authority of New Zealand dated 9 June 1997, I, John Paul Edgar, Manager, Safer Roads, give the following notice.
Notice
(1) This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Waimakariri District) Notice 1999.
(2) The roads specified in the First Schedule are declared to be 70 kilometres an hour speed limit areas pursuant to regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976.
(3) The road specified in the Second Schedule is excluded from the limitation as to speed imposed by section 52 (1) of the Transport Act 1962, pursuant to section 52 (2) of the Transport Act 1962.
(4) Those parts of the Second and Third Schedules of The Traffic (Waimakariri District) Notice 1996 that relate to the roads in the Schedules below are revoked.
First Schedule
SITUATED within Waimakariri District at Woodend:
Chinnerys Road.
Rangiora-Woodend Road: from a point 50 metres measured north-westerly, generally, along the said road from the No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff) to a point 20 metres measured north-westerly, generally, from Chinnerys Road.
Second Schedule
SITUATED within Waimakariri District at Woodend:
Rangiora-Woodend Road from a point 20 metres measured north-westerly, generally, from Chinnerys Road to Okaihau Road.

Approval of Course in Map Reading
Pursuant to section 48 (2) (f) of the Transport (Vehicle and Driver Registration and Licensing) Act 1986, and pursuant to a delegation given by the Director of Land Transport Safety in an instrument of delegation, dated the 23rd day of December 1996, I, Francis John Wingrove Martin, Regional Compliance Officer, hereby approve courses in map reading to be conducted by the following organisation for the purposes of regulation 11 (1) (c) of the Transport (Drivers Licensing) Regulations 1987:
