Proposed Release of Deposit

The Insurance Companies’ Deposits Act 1953

Union Des Assurances De Paris Iard (hereinafter called “the company”), has given notice to the public trustee that it has ceased to carry on the business of insurance in New Zealand and that it proposes to withdraw, pursuant to section 19 of the Act, the deposit which has been made by it with the public trustee.

The public trustee therefore gives notice, pursuant to section 19 (3) of the Act, that being satisfied that all liabilities of the company in New Zealand in respect of such insurance business have been fully liquidated or provided for, he proposes to release to the company on or after the 22nd day of March 1999, the amount deposited with him by the company.

Any objections to the release of the amount deposited should be lodged with the public trustee at the Public Trust Office, 117–125 Lambton Quay, Wellington 1, on or before the 15th day of March 1999.

The Insurance Companies’ Deposits Act 1953

Royal & Sun Alliance (New Zealand) Limited (hereinafter called “the company”), has given notice to the public trustee that it has ceased to carry on the business of insurance in New Zealand and that it proposes to withdraw, pursuant to section 19 of the Act, the deposit which has been made by it with the public trustee.

Notice of Entry into Possession of Mortgaged Property

Pursuant to Sections 104DD and 104EE of the Property Law Act 1952

Take notice that on the 1st day of February 1999, the Housing Corporation of New Zealand, as mortgagee, entered into possession of the property at 44 Mill Road, Waitahanui, being all of that land contained in Lot 27 on Deposited Plan S. 55376 and having certificate of title 47B/72.

The Housing Corporation of New Zealand is a body established under the Housing Corporation Act 1974, and having its national office at Level Eight, Cogita Building, 20 Amersham Way, Manukau City, Auckland.

Pursuant to section 11 of the Business Development Boards Act 1991, the Minister of Business Development is pleased to appoint

Mavis Raylene Mullins, business owner of Dannevirke and

Alan Edward Bowmar, managing director of Upper Hutt

as members of the New Zealand Business Development Board for the period commencing on the 25th day of February 1999 and expiring on the 24th day of February 2001, or earlier upon disestablishment of the board when the Business Development Boards Act 1991 is repealed.
