Termination of Dumping Investigation: Plasterboard From Indonesia
Notice is hereby given that, acting pursuant to section 11 of the Dumping and Countervailing Duties Act 1988 (hereinafter referred to as “the Act”), I have terminated a dumping investigation in respect of plasterboard from Indonesia (the “subject goods” as described in the Notice of Initiation of Dumping Investigation of 13 October 1998 (New Zealand Gazette, 15 October 1998, page 4115)), imported or intended to be imported into New Zealand.
The reason that I have terminated the investigation is because I am satisfied under section 11 (1) (a) of the Act that, as a result of the investigations carried out, there is insufficient evidence of dumping to justify proceeding with the investigation.
Dated at Wellington this 15th day of February 1999.
HON. MAX BRADFORD, Minister for Enterprise and Commerce.
A copy of the non-confidential version of the Final Report which contains details of the investigation and the conclusions reached, is available from the Trade Remedies Group, Ministry of Commerce, P.O. Box 1473, Wellington.
