Notice of Appointment of Receivers of Income

Pursuant to Section 8 (1) of the Receiverships Act 1993

James Terence Taaffe and James Roland McIvor, chartered
accountants of Napier, were appointed receivers of income
on the 29th day of January 1999 by the Trustee Executors
and Agency Company of New Zealand Limited, pursuant
to the powers conferred in a first registered mortgage
granted by Dickens and Hastings Limited ("the
mortgagor"), dated the 1st day of August 1997, and
registered on the 13th day of August 1997 as 663687.3
("the mortgage") over the land described and comprised in
certificate of title M4/1340 and 80/161 (Hawke's Bay
Registry).

The receivers of income shall be the agents of the
mortgagor.

Erin Utiera, manager, care of Frankton Hotel, Frankton, as
receiver and manager of the property of Frankton Hotel
(1998) Limited (in receivership) under the powers
contained in a debenture dated the 13th day of May 1998
given by that company.

The receiver has been appointed in respect of all the
company's undertakings and all its real and personal
