The Traffic (Wellington City) Notice 1999
Pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962, and regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976, and pursuant to an authority sub-delegated to me by the Land Transport Safety Authority of New Zealand dated 9 June 1997, I, John Paul Edgar, Manager, Safer Roads, give the following notice:
N o t i c e
(1) This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Wellington City) Notice 1999.
(2) The road specified in the First Schedule is excluded from the limitation as to speed imposed by section 52 (1) of the Transport Act 1962.
(3) The road specified in the Second Schedule is declared to be a 70 kilometres an hour speed limit area pursuant to regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976.
(4) That part of the Traffic (Wellington City) Notice No. 1, 1977* referred to in the Schedules below is revoked.
First Schedule
SITUATED within Wellington City:
Cobham Drive: from Troy Street to Evans Bay Parade.
Second Schedule
SITUATED within Wellington City:
Cobham Drive: from Troy Street to Evans Bay Parade.

The Traffic (Waimakariri District) Notice No. 4, 1999
Pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962, and regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976 and under and by way of powers delegated to me by the Minister of Transport in an instrument of delegation dated 9 June 1997, I, John Paul Edgar, Manager, Safer Roads, give the following notice:
N o t i c e
(1) This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Waimakariri District) Notice No. 4, 1999.
(2) The area specified in the First Schedule is declared to be a closely populated locality at all times for the purposes of section 52 (1) (c) of the Transport Act 1962.
(3) The roads specified in the Second Schedule are declared to be 70 kilometres an hour speed limit areas pursuant to regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976.
(4) The roads specified in the Third Schedule are excluded from the limitation as to speed imposed by section 52 (1) of the Transport Act 1962, pursuant to section 52 (2) of the Transport Act 1962.
(5) The Traffic (Waimakariri District) Notice No. 2, 1999* is revoked.
First Schedule
SITUATED within Waimakariri District at Rangiora:
All the area, with the exception of those roads named in the Second and Third Schedules, bounded by a line commencing at a point on the south western side of Milton Avenue 150 metres measured north westerly, generally, from River Road; thence south easterly generally along the south western side of Milton Avenue to River Road; thence westerly, generally, along the northern side of River Road to a point 600 metres measured westerly, generally, along River Road from the intersection of the northern side of River Road with the line of the western side of West Belt produced across River Road; thence southerly, generally, across River Road at right angles to its southern side; thence to the northern end of Brick Kiln Road on its eastern side; thence southerly, generally, along the eastern side of Brick Kiln Road to its intersection with the northern side of Oxford Road; thence across Oxford Road at right angles to its northern side to its southern side; thence south-easterly, generally, by a right line to a point on the northern side of Johns Road, 350 metres measured westerly, generally, from West Belt; thence across Johns Road at right angles to its northern side to its southern side; thence south easterly, generally, by a right line to a point on the western side of Townsend Road, 150 metres measured westerly and southerly, generally, from Pentecost Road; thence across Townsend Road at right angles to its western side to its eastern side; thence south easterly, generally, by a right line to a point on the north western side of Todds Road, 640 metres measured south westerly, generally, from Ellis Road; thence across Todds Road at right angles to its north western side to its south eastern side; thence easterly, generally, by a right line to a point on the western side of Flaxton Road 450 metres measured southerly, generally, from its intersection with the Lineside Road; thence across Flaxton Road at right angles to its western side to its eastern side; thence easterly, generally, by a right line to a point on the western side of Lineside Road, 440 metres measured south easterly, generally, from Flaxton Road; thence across Lineside Road at right angles to its southern side to its north eastern side; thence north easterly, generally, by a right line to a point on the southern side of Marsh Road 730 metres measured easterly, generally, from Railway Road; thence across Marsh Road at right angles to its southern side to its northern side; thence northerly, generally, by a right line to a point on the southern side of Boys Road 650 metres measured easterly, generally, along Boys Road from the eastern side of the Main North Railway; thence across Boys Road at right angles to its southern side to its northern side; thence northerly, generally, by a right line to a point on the southern side of Northbrook Road, 480 metres measured easterly, generally, from East Belt; thence across Northbrook Road at right angles to its southern side to its northern side; thence northerly, generally, by a right line to a point on the southern side of Kippenberger Avenue 110 metres measured easterly, generally, along Kippenberger Avenue from Watkins Place; thence across Kippenberger Avenue at right angles to its southern side to its northern side; thence northerly, generally, by a right line to a point on the southern side of Coldstream Road, 500 metres measured easterly, generally, from East Belt; thence across Coldstream Road at right angles to its southern side to its northern side; thence north-westerly, generally, by a right line to a point on the eastern side of East Belt 440 metres measured northerly, generally, from Coldstream Road; thence across East Belt at right angles to its eastern side to its western side; thence westerly, generally, by a right line to a point on the eastern side of Ashley Street at its intersection with the line of the southern side of River Road produced across Ashley Street; thence north-westerly, generally, along the north-eastern side of Ashley Street and Milton Avenue to a point due north east of the
