Social Security Act 1964
Direction In Relation To Disability Allowance Amendment
To: The Chief Executive, Department of Work and Income.
Pursuant to section 5 of the Social Security Act 1964, I, Roger Morrison Sowry, Minister of Social Services, Work and Income, amend as set out in the Schedule the Direction In Relation To Disability Allowance that I gave you on 28 March 1999, to take effect from the day after the date on which this amendment is published in the Gazette.

| "3. When reviewing a person’s entitlement to any disability allowance, you need not require a person to provide verification for any particular expense if you are satisfied that— | |
| (a) The matters in clause 2 (a) to (c) still apply to that expense having regard to the matters in clauses 4 to 6; and | |
| (b) The amount of the expense has not changed." |
Explanatory Note
This note is not part of the Amendment but is intended to indicate its general effect.
This amendment is to the Direction In Relation To Disability Allowance given by the Minister of Social Services, Work and Income on 28 March 1999 under section 5 of the Social Security Act 1964.
The amendment excuses the chief executive from requiring an expense to be verified, when reviewing a person’s entitlement to a disability allowance, if satisfied that there is a continuing need for the expense and the amount of the expense has not changed.

Notice of Granting of a Scheduled International Air Service Licence
Pursuant to the Civil Aviation Act 1990, the State Sector Act 1988 and a delegation from the Secretary for Transport dated 28 August 1996, I, John Gibson Bradbury, General Manager International Relations in the Ministry of Transport, hereby give notice that I have exercised the power conferred by section 87N of the Civil Aviation Act 1990 and granted to Compania Mexicana de Aviacion S.A. de C.V., of Mexico, a Scheduled International Air Service Licence authorising the airline to operate services, with such level of strictly New Zealand-Mexico capacity as is filed with and authorised by the Secretary for Transport, from points in Mexico to any point or points in New Zealand optionally via any point or points and beyond to any point or points, but without traffic rights at the intermediate and beyond points.
The licence was granted with effect from 15 November 1999.
