Gaming and Lotteries Act 1977

Permission to Conduct Within New Zealand a Lottery Promoted Outside New Zealand

Pursuant to section 69 of the Gaming and Lotteries Act 1977, I, Jack Elder, Minister of Internal Affairs, hereby permit Athlete’s Foot Pty Limited, to conduct within New Zealand, subject to the conditions specified in the Schedule to this notice, a lottery promoted outside New Zealand as a sales promotion scheme, to promote the sale of the Athlete’s Foot gift vouchers.

Conditions

The permission given by this notice is subject to the following conditions, namely:

(1) Athlete’s Foot Pty Limited shall not conduct the sales promotion scheme in New Zealand after 24 December 1999;

(2) The results of the sales promotion scheme shall be published in the Sunday Star Times on the 30th day of January 2000;
Winners will be notified by certified mail;

(3) New Zealand winners shall not be subject to any extra cost when they claim their prizes;

(4) The chance of a New Zealand participant winning a prize shall be equal to that of an overseas participant.

Local Government (Wellington City) Boundary Alteration Notice 1999

Pursuant to section 37P (2) (b) of the Local Government Act 1974, the Minister of Local Government gives the following notice:

Notice

1. Title and commencement—(1) This notice may be cited as the Local Government (Wellington City) Boundary Alteration Notice 1999.

(2) This notice comes into force on the day after the date on which it is published in the New Zealand Gazette.

2. Boundaries of Wellington City—(1) The boundaries of Wellington City are altered by including in the city the area described in the Schedule to this notice.

(2) Nothing in this notice shall have the effect of excluding from Wellington City any area included in that city prior to this notice coming into force.

3. Wards—The area included in Wellington City by this notice is included in the Eastern Ward of that city as described in S.O. Plan 37887 deposited with the Chief Surveyor of the Wellington Land District.

Schedule

All that area bound by a line commencing at a point being the intersection of the projection of the south-eastern boundary of Section 107, Evans Bay District, S.O. Plan 25180 with the north-eastern boundary of Cobham Drive (State Highway 1), then proceeding in a generally northerly direction to the southern corner of a stone breakwater forming the northern boundary of Evans Bay Marina, then following the existing boundary of Wellington City around the inner boundary of the marina to its intersection with the first segment of this line.
