Animals Protection Act 1960
Approval of Amendments to Code of Ethical Conduct—Notice No. 1142 (300-A1-07)
Pursuant to section 19A (6) of the Animals Protection Act 1960, I hereby give notice that on the advice of the National Animal Ethics Advisory Committee, I have approved, on the date of this notice, amendments to the code of ethical conduct of Ambreed NZ Limited, notified in notice No. 5354, published in the New Zealand Gazette on 28 July 1994, in issue No. 75 at page 2412.

Notification of Approved Identification System for Imported Animals—Notice No. 1144
I give notice that the MAF Imported Animal Identification System was approved by me on 5 November 1999 pursuant to section 50 (1) of the Biosecurity Act 1993.

The MAF Imported Animal Identification System is administered by the Director Animal Products, Food Assurance Authority, Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry for the identification of imported sheep, cattle, deer and goats.

Whereas the appointments of inspectors under the Meat Act 1981 have been reviewed, and the following inspectors are not carrying out functions under the Meat Act 1981:
