Pursuant to section 154 of the Education Act 1989, I hereby declare that Castlepoint School (2822), Wairarapa, will close on the 31st day of December 1999 and will cease to be established on that day.

Dissolution of Board of Trustees and Appointment of Commissioner at St Joseph's Cathedral School, Dunedin (3827)

Pursuant to section 106 (1) (aa) of the Education Act 1989, for the reason that so many casual vacancies have arisen that there is no longer any member of the board who is eligible to preside at meetings of the board, I hereby dissolve the St Joseph's Cathedral School Board of Trustees and appoint Mr Mike Alison as Commissioner to act in its place.

Pursuant to clause 9 (2) of the Sixth Schedule to the Education Act 1989 and acting with authority delegated by the Minister of Education, I hereby extend the closing date for voting (and all subsequent actions in accordance with the Education (Trustee Elections) Regulations 1992) for the elections of parent representatives and a staff representative for the Combined Board of Trustees for Te Kura Kaupapa Maori O Te Waiu O Ngati Porou, Te Kura Kaupapa Maori O Waipiro and Te Kura Kaupapa Maori O Mangatuna. Voting shall now close on 19 November 1999.

This notice takes effect the day after its notification in the New Zealand Gazette.

Boards of Trustees Responsibilities Under the Property Occupancy Document

Pursuant to section 70 of the Education Act 1989, acting under a delegation from the Secretary for Education, I hereby give notice that the terms and conditions for boards of all State schools occupying land and buildings are specified in the form of a Property Occupancy Document.

A copy of the Property Occupancy Document will be issued to all state schools as an appendix to the Property Management Guidelines and/or boards may obtain a copy from the National Office of the Ministry of Education or the Ministry's district property offices.

The Property Occupancy Document issued to the boards of all State schools in 1990 is hereby revoked.

This notice shall take effect on the day after the date of its notification in the Gazette.

Education (Early Childhood Centres) Regulations 1990

Cancellation of Licence for an Early Childhood Centre

Pursuant to regulation 10 (3) of the Education (Early Childhood Centres) Regulations 1998, and acting under authority delegated by the Secretary for Education, I hereby cancel the licence dated 27 September 1999, which was granted under those regulations to Benjamin Paki Hill, in respect of Onerahi Professional Childcare Centre, (11558), situated at 60 Waverley Street, Onerahi, Whangarei.

The centre has ceased to operate.

This notice shall take effect the day after the date of its notification in the New Zealand Gazette.

Supplementary Integration Agreement

Pursuant to section 10 of the Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975, notice is given that a supplementary integration agreement has been signed between the Minister of Education on behalf of Her Majesty the Queen, acting through the Senior Manager, National Operations, Ministry of Education, pursuant to delegated authority, and the proprietor of the following school:

Kotuku Rudolf Steiner School, Dunedin.
