WELLINGTON: WEDNESDAY, 27 OCTOBER 1999 — ISSUE NO. 158

Notifying Issue of Writs, Date of Polling, etc.

Pursuant to a Warrant under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, dated the 25th day of October 1999 directed to the Clerk of the Writs, I have this day issued writs to all Returning Officers authorising them to proceed to the election of members of Parliament for all electoral districts within New Zealand and have fixed Wednesday, the 3rd day of November 1999, as the last day for the nomination of candidates, Saturday, the 27th day of November 1999, as the day upon which the poll for such elections shall (if necessary) be taken, and Thursday, the 16th day of December 1999, as the day on or before which the said writs shall be returnable to me.
