Notice of Appointment of Chairperson of the Northern Regional Approval Panel

Pursuant to regulation 48 (1) of the Domestic Violence (Programmes) Regulations 1996, the Chief Executive is pleased to appoint

Kevin Parker, Court Manager, Otahuhu Court, of Auckland

as chairperson of the Northern Regional Approval Panel, replacing Joy Cherie Turner, for the period commencing on the date of this notice and expiring with the close of the 31st day of July 2002.

Supplementary Integration Agreement

Pursuant to section 10 of the Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975, notice is given that a supplementary integration agreement has been signed between the Minister of Education on behalf of Her Majesty the Queen, acting through the Senior Manager, National Operations, Ministry of Education, pursuant to delegated authority, and the proprietor of the following school:

Rangiora New Life School, Rangiora.

The said supplementary integration agreement was executed on the 12th day of October 1999. A copy of the supplementary integration agreement is available for inspection without charge by any member of the public at the district office of the Ministry of Education, 123 Victoria Street, Christchurch.

Fisheries Act 1983

The Fisheries (Quota Aggregation Limit Exemption) Notice (No. 4) 1999 (No. F136)

Pursuant to section 28W (3) of the Fisheries Act 1983, the Minister for Food, Fibre, Biosecurity and Border Control, after consultation with the New Zealand Fishing Industry Board and the Treaty of Waitangi Fisheries Commission, and after having regard to the provisions of section 28W (5) of the Fisheries Act 1983, hereby gives the following notice:

Notice

  1. Title and commencement—(1) This notice may be cited as the Fisheries (Quota Aggregation Limit Exemption) Notice (No. 4) 1999.

(2) This notice shall come into effect on the day after its notification in the New Zealand Gazette.

  1. Exemption to quota aggregation limit—As from the date that this notice comes into effect, Mr Clem Smith is permitted to hold quota and interest in quota in excess of the limits specified in section 28W (1) of the Fisheries Act 1983, up to a limit of 50 percent of the total allowable commercial catch for yellow-eyed mullet in quota management area 3.
