Notice of Publication of Annual Report—Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry

Pursuant to section 39 (2A) of the Public Finance Act 1989, the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry gives notice that it has delivered to the Minister for Food, Fibre, Biosecurity and Border Control its annual report for the year ended 30 June 1999 and that the report has been published.

The report contains the Ministry’s financial statements, audit report and statement of responsibility for the period.

Radiocommunications Act 1989

Radio Spectrum Auction 3

The Ministry of Commerce wishes to advise that Radio Spectrum Auction 3, having been deferred from its original starting date of 29 March 1999, will now commence at 9.00 a.m. on Monday, 15 November 1999.

Registrations for the auction will open on Tuesday, 26 October 1999, and will close at 4.00 p.m. on Thursday, 11 November 1999. No guarantee of registration for the auction can be given for any registrations received after the closing date.

Radio spectrum management right lots and licence lots suitable for a number of different technologies including second and third generation cellular services (known as PCS), as well as fixed linking services, are included in the auction.

The multiple round auction will be held electronically, via the Internet. Full details of the auction, including the auction catalogue and registration form, are available from the auction website at the following Internet address: http://auction.moc.govt.nz/
