8.2 Other waters

8.2.1 No person shall on any one day take, kill or be in possession of more than 6 trout from one or more of the following waters:

Mataura River from the bridge on SH6 (Black bridge), 3 km north of Athol, to the sea;
Waikaia River downstream from the Glenary bridge on the Waikaia-Piano Flat road;
Oreti River from Rocky Point to the sea;
Aparima River from its confluence with the Hamilton Burn to the sea;
Waiau River from the Mararoa Weir to the sea;
Makarewa River from it’s confluence with the Otapiri Stream to it’s confluence with the Oreti River;
Pourakino River and its tributaries
All those waters draining to the sea between Fortrose and The Brothers Point.

8.2.2 No person shall in any one day take, kill or be in possession of more than two trout from one or more of the following waters, including their tributaries:

All rivers and streams flowing into Lakes Te Anau, Manapouri, Monowai, Hauroko, and Hankinson, except for the upper Waiau and the Mararoa River downstream of the SH94 bridge at The Key;
Oreti River upstream of Rocky Point;
Mararoa River upstream of the SH94 bridge at The Key including the Mavora Lakes;
Whitestone River;
Wairaki River upstream of the electricity transmission lines;
Borland River;
Monowai River;
Lake Thomas;
Aparima River upstream of the Hamilton Burn confluence;
Lake Waituna.

8.2.3 No person shall on any one day take, kill or be in possession of more than four trout from any other waters in the region.

8.2.4 No person shall in any one day take, kill or possess more than one salmon from any waters of the region.

8.2.5 No person shall on any one day take, kill or be in possession of more than 6 sports fish.

THIRD SCHEDULE

FISH LICENCES, LICENCE FEES, AND LICENCE FORM

This schedule notifies the definitions and classes of fish licences and fees payable in respect of each class of licence.

DEFINITIONS AND FEES

Adult: 20 years of age or older as at 1 October 1999.

Young Adult: 16 years of age or older but not having obtained 20 years of age as at 1 October 1999.

Junior: 12 years of age or older but not having obtained the age of 16 years as at 1 October 1999.

Child: Under 12 years of age as at 1 October 1999.

Family: (In respect of the Eastern and North Canterbury Regions). Includes a primary adult licence holder, one adult partner and any dependants under the age of 20 as at 1 October 1999.

Whole season: A Whole Season Fish Licence shall enable the holder to fish for and take sports fish in all Fish & Game regions, from 1 October 1999 to 30 September 2000.
