Merger of Potaka School with Waikura Valley School
Pursuant to section 156A (1) of the Education Act 1989, I hereby declare that Potaka School (2649) and Waikura Valley School (2717) will merge on 26 January 2000 and become a full primary school.
Potaka School will be the continuing school.

New Zealand (Maximum Residue Limits of Agricultural Compounds) Mandatory Food Standard 1999, Amendment No. 2
Section 111 of the Food Act 1981
Amendment No. 2 to the New Zealand (Maximum Residue Limits of Agricultural Compounds) Mandatory Food Standard 1999 (βthe Standardβ) was issued by the Minister of Health on 10 September 1999.
Amendment No. 2 updates the provisions for maximum residue limits of agricultural compounds contained within the Standard.
Amendment No. 2 reinstates the maximum residue limit for milk fat for the agricultural compound Moxidectin, which was inadvertently removed from the Standard by Amendment No. 1.

Appointment of Director of Residual Health Management Unit
Pursuant to section 18 (2) of the Health Reforms (Transitional Provisions) Act 1993, and in accordance with clause 3 of the Second Schedule to the Health and Disability Services Act 1993, I re-appoint
Peter Kemp
as a director of the Residual Health Management Unit from the date of appointment until 30 June 2000, on the conditions specified in the Schedule to this notice.
